About the event

On March 13, 2027, at 8:30 p.m., at the Calais Theater, come see “Potiche,” a biting and visionary comedy from the 1970s.

In the quiet town of Sainte-Gudule, nothing seems capable of disrupting the Pujol family’s orderly life. And yet, when Robert, the stern owner of an umbrella factory, falls ill, his wife Suzanne is forced to take the reins of the business. Docile and devoted, Suzanne ultimately proves to be a brilliant and unexpected business leader!

Clémentine Célarié’s fiery energy blends with Paloma’s comedic timing, rounding out this wild and unrestrained comedy. Alongside this duo, Jérôme Pouly, Benjamin Siksou, and Alexie Ribes enrich the show with lively energy and a delightful pace. Power isn’t always where we expect it to be, and each of us harbors incredible resources.
