About the event

CAR/MEN, a contemporary dance performance created by Philippe Lafeuille, will take place on November 7, 2026, at 8:30 p.m. at the Théâtre de Calais.

This performance is an ode to freedom, reimagined and revitalized through contemporary dance and flamenco. Philippe Lafeuille offers a unique interpretation of the icon of freedom, blurring the lines to pave the way for the discovery of dance.

The Chicos Mambo Company, directed by Philippe Lafeuille, will also present an excerpt from the production “SKINS” by the OPS Company—Olivia Pierre Stone, winner of the “Grand Saut” award. This performance is a contemporary dance experience that will transport you into a world of memories and emotions.

Marilyne Bal’s play “Emergency Meeting” depicts the ups and downs in the life of Stéphane, a music producer who decides to leave everything behind to refocus on what really matters. Accompanied by his friend and coach Freddy, he must break the news to his three ex-wives—characters who are as strong-willed as they are unpredictable. Directed by Anne Bouvier and featuring performances by Fabienne Carat, Kamel Belghazi, Tonya Kinzinger, Stéphanie Colonna, Arnaud Jouan, and Pauline Dallier, this fast-paced and funny comedy will sweep you away, as every attempt to regain control seems doomed to failure.
